Isabelle Oh, the things you do for power. Tonight you will be forced to spend a considerable amount of time with one of the most horrid men in Vendora, no in Italy, or even in Christianity. And to add insult to injury you will have to make him believe that you like him, god, even want him. This sorry tale began shortly after you hired a new servant about two weeks ago. The dim-witted but amusing Arlechino de Bergamo insisted that he had the ear of many great men and sordid information about all of them. That his list included the lord of the moon and several dignitaries of the middle air bothered little for much of his information proved correct. As you were, and indeed still are, in need of a thorough bastard to carry out some of your dirty deeds you asked him for the name of the most horrible man in italy. Without hesitation he replied "Captain Cocodrillo, milady, a man less worthy of your attention you will never find. He is both murderous and cowardly to a fault and you absolutely must not meet him under any circumstances." You seemed to recall the name from somewhere and asked your chamberlain too look into it. Soon he returned with a pile of sickening love-letters and requests for private audiences from the said "Captain Cocodrillo of the most magnificent Canary Company of mercenaries". You immediately told Arlechino to arrange a private meeting. At first he protested, but several beatings from your harem guards changed his mind. He begged you to remember that the Captain was a raving lunatic that made up lies about everything between heaven and hell. He told you that it was best to go along with everything the madman said, not to anger him. With this in mind you set up the meeting. Your goal is to use all available means to find out whether he really is the epitome of dirt that Arlechino presents him as and thus useful in your plans. Tease him and encourage him to show his bad sides without being too obviously provoking. The things you are looking for is cruelty, egocentricity, cowardice and anger. Your goal for the evening is to either dismiss the captain as a pansy do-gooder or welcome him to your service and ensnare him with a kiss. Do not use the kiss until you want to end the play and hire the captain. If you choose to dismiss him you may use whatever unambiguous language and gestures you see fit. Allow at least 30 minutes (if you play by keyboard) or 15 minutes if you play by voice of playing time before you end the game in this way. If you strongly feel that Arlechino deserves a severe tongue-lashing at any of these ending points you must deliver one and chase the bugger off stage. If
